At the previous World Championships in Malaysia in 2013 she also made history -- winning her country's first ever taolu medal -- a bronze. She was Australian national champion in 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2014, and is to date the most successful athlete of the Australian wushu taolu team. Her bright personality, enthusiasm, and popularity makes her a true ambassador for wushu in Australia. Her watershed medal performances have brought Australia into the gold standard, and she looks to help train a new generation of Australian wushu youth with an eye on the future Youth Olympic Games. Her federation notes, “This year was incredibly busy and hardworking for Oryna, with almost no breaks between competitions. Oryna competes for the development of taiji in Ukraine and is trying to become a professional coach in this field. She epitomizes grit, perseverance and bravery, especially as she struggled to win a devastating battle with Covid-19 to proudly see the flag of Uzbekistan rise over the World Games podium wining the silver medal. Darya’s dedication, intelligence, and sportsmanship are combined with a never-give-up attitude that has made her one of Asia’s most promising young champions of this decade. Darya won the silver medal in women's nanquan at the 31st FISU World University Games Wushu Competition 2023, and a silver medal in women's nanquan & nandao at the World Combat Games - Wushu Competition 2023.

She won the gold medal in taijiquan/taijijian combined at the 2022 Birmingham The World Games - her country’s first ever gold medal in The World Games. Then in 2023 she won the silver medal at the Hangzhou Asian Games – becoming Brunei’s first ever Asian Games silver medalist in any sport. He took 4th place at the 16th World Wushu Championships 2023 in men's taijiquan. At the 9th World Kungfu Championships in men's other taijiquan routines-group D, he took 1st prize, 1st place; and in men's other taijijian routines-group D, he took 2nd place, 1st prize. His federation says, “He has achieved excellent results in previous World Wushu Championships, World Kungfu Championships as well as World Tajiquan Championships. Chung Hei always respects the referees and the opponent in wushu competitions and activities. He has demonstrated the ability to lead the taiiquan group of the Hong Kong, China team to promote wushu and display his leadership and positive attitude in organizing the various wushu performances. He won 1st place, 1st prize in men’s xingyiquan-Goup D at the 2023 9th World Kungfu Championships. At the 16th World Wushu Championships 2023 he ranked 15th in men's jianshu with a score of 9.383, and 17th in men’s qiangshu with a score of 9.320. His federation writes, “Christoph Huynh is without question the best wushu athlete in Germany and has achieved very good performances at the international level. Both in Germany and internationally, he is known among his peers as a fair, excellent athlete who is characterized by his positive attitude, his willpower, and his ability to build up and motivate others. Christoph has dedicated himself body and soul to wushu. For him it is more than sport, it is a way of life, and he wants to be a role model for everyone who loves wushu. He has been training continuously and relentlessly for over 20 years to improve his wushu. Through regular training visits to China he spared neither money nor time to perfect his wushu. He tirelessly researches wushu techniques, both from a sports science and philosophical perspective. Christoph shows great commitment to the Germany Wushu Federation, and is not only active as an athlete, but also as a trainer, especially for youth.”

He won 1st place, 1st prize in men’s other nanquan routines - group D at the 2023 9th World Kungfu Championships. He also won men’s nandao (southern broadsword) - group D, 2nd place, 2nd prize. His federation notes, “Benette is a very passionate and well-mannered athlete who started wushu late but never gave up even though he was behind peers who began earlier than him. During his younger days, he had to work, study and train all at the same time. Finally, after many years, he made it to the national development team to receive national coaching and he made up for lost time with perseverance and hard work, and it paid off when he won the 1st prize and 2nd prize at the 9th World Kungfu Championships. Even though he is a champion, he has never once let his achievement get the better of him. He is a great athlete who is well-liked amongst all the coaches, a team player, and a club coach with the kindest of hearts.”

She placed 1st at the 2023 16th World Wushu Championships in taijiquan with a score of 9.776, and 5th in taijijian with 9.760. She won a second medal, silver, in duilian with a 9.596. According to her federation, Zeanne is the up-and-coming national athlete for the national wushu team. Having being selected to represent Singapore at a young age of 16 and now a newly crowned world champion, Zeanne still remains approachable and well-mannered towards her seniors, peers, coaches and the staff working at the federation. She is also currently the youngest athlete on the national team, following the steps of her senior Vera Tan. She usually brings laughter and joy to her teammates. At 18 years old, she will definitely be a strong contender in the competitive taiji community in the many years to come.

Alina believes that only through the joint team work of the coach and the athlete was it possible to overcome all obstacles and achieve results. Flora states, “I come from a Franco-Chinese family, and my mother practiced wushu from a young age until today. I was taught Chinese culture and wushu and I work hard to continue in this tradition with motivation and determination. Practicing wushu is like a feeling of freedom, and this sport has allowed me to meet new people whether at the national or international level. This sport has forged a strong mentality in me which also gives me self-confidence. Thanks to that I was able to succeed in each of my competitions, and in 2023 I accomplished my goals; I am proud of each medal that I bring home and today I am just as proud to represent my country.”

At the 9th World Kungfu Championships in 2023, she won second place, 1st prize in woman’s other southern routines, and 3rd place in woman’s nandao. According to her federation, Devni’s family originated from Sri Lanka and being enthusiastic about Chinese culture, started Devni and her brother on wushu. Currently Devni is the national school’s champion in nandao, and she was also selected into the national probational team for nanquan, nandao and nangun. Although there was a little language barrier at times with coaches, Devni did not give up and never hesitated to approach the coaches when she is in doubt or is unsure of how to execute a movement. She has also managed to prove her skills when she won 2 medals at the 9th World Kungfu Championships. Bubbly in nature, her teammates always find it a joy to train together as there is never a dull moment with her.

She won women's other barehand routines - group C first prize, 2nd place at the 9th World Kungfu Championships in 2023, as well as women's shuangjian - group C 2nd prize, 2nd place. In 2018 at the 7th World Junior Wushu Championships (Brasilia Brazil) she took a bronze medal in girls qiangshu group C. According to her federation, through her practice and performances Man Ting had always sought to highlight the deep-rooted spiritual principles that underpin traditional wushu, emphasizing the harmony between mind, body, and spirit.Additionally, she demonstrated leadership within the wushu community, actively promoting the values of discipline, respect, and perseverance. She has taken on roles within the Hong Kong, China wushu team mentoring younger athletes, and has shown a commitment to the growth and development of the sport. Overall, she is incredibly passionate about traditional wushu and committed to representing the sport with integrity and reverence.
